The four causes of KYC rejection

  1. Blurry photos. Either glare, motion blur, or low resolution. KYC reviewers need to read every character on your PAN.
  2. Name mismatch. The name on your PAN must match the name on your bank/UPI exactly. “Rohit Kumar” vs “Rohit K.” = rejection.
  3. Expired or damaged ID. Expired driving licence, torn Aadhaar card, or PAN with date-of-birth missing.
  4. Address proof mismatch. If you submit Aadhaar as address proof, the address must match your registered profile (which doesn’t really get asked for at signup but does at withdrawal review).

The KYC submission checklist (use this before submitting)

  • ☐ Photo of PAN — all four corners visible, no glare, every character readable
  • ☐ Photo of Aadhaar (front + back) — same standards
  • ☐ Selfie holding the PAN — face and PAN both clearly visible
  • ☐ Bank account name = PAN name (no abbreviations)
  • ☐ UPI handle name = PAN name
  • ☐ Phone number on Lucky Shots = phone number linked to Aadhaar

If KYC is rejected: what to do

  1. Read the rejection reason in Profile → Verification → Status.
  2. Fix the specific issue (re-photograph, correct bank name, etc.).
  3. Resubmit. The system doesn’t penalise resubmissions.
  4. If rejected 3+ times for unclear reasons, submit a ticket via Profile → Help → KYC Issue with photos attached.

12–48 hours from submission to decision. First-stage queue acknowledgement is 2–4 hours.

Can I withdraw without KYC?

No. Lucky Shots will not process any withdrawal without completed KYC.
